Fans of the House of Mouse will get a triple dip of top Disney talent as heartthrob Peyton Meyer from Girl Meets World, internationally acclaimed Laura Marano from Austin and Ally, and Kids Choice Award Winner, Jake Short from A.N.T. Farm come to iPlay America. Mark your calendars for the Meet & Greets with Peyton Meyer on April 30, and Jake Short on June 18, or the Laura Marano performance and Meet & Greet on May 27.
Peyton Meyer is a teen star best known for his character of Lucas Friar on the Disney Channel original series Girl Meets World. He has become a staple in the legendary House of Mouse, first appearing in the series Dog with a Blog as Wes Manning in 2013 and 2014. Most of Peyton’s fans are obsessed with the continuing love triangle between his character, Lucas, and his Girl Meets World co-stars, Riley (Rowan Blanchard), and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter). As the series jumps into its third season, the show’s producer promises big changes and big honesty as the cast moves from middle school into high school.
Fans of Peyton Meyer can look forward to a Kids-curated Q&A Session with Peyton at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 30 during the Meet & Greet. All ticket buyers will receive an email prior to the show with an entry form to submit a question for Peyton from a child in your party. The most interesting questions will be chosen by a special panel and those selected will have the opportunity to sit on the stage with Peyton and ask their questions! Laura Marano starred as main character Ally Dawson in the Disney Channel original show “Austin & Ally.” She lays claim to a long list of other television shows and movie appearances, and she currently hosts a weekly broadcast on Radio Disney. Laura Marano has been in the acting profession since she was five years old with small roles on The Ghost Whisperer, Huff, and Joan of Arcadia. She had a recurring role on the television series Without a Trace and was a regular cast member on the FOX game show, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?. Laura has been on the Billboard Kid Digital Songs chart numerous times and in 2015 signed a record deal. Her upcoming studio album is called Boombox.
Laura will be at iPlay America on Friday, May 27 for a performance and Meet & Greet with fans. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Show is at 6:00 pm. General admission tickets are $10. Each ticket includes Standing Room Only admission to the performance and a $5 iPlay America Game Card. A limited number of $100 VIP Meet & Greet tickets are available.
Actor Jake Short, won the 2012 Kids’ Choice Award for favorite TV Actor, for his role as Fletcher Quimby on Disney’s A.N.T. Farm. In 2013, Short co-starred as Oliver on the Disney XD original series Mighty Med and then took a starring role in its spinoff series Lab Rats: Elite Force. This talented young man made his film debut in 2007 in the film, The Anna Nicole Smith Story. Since then Jake has appeared in many commercials, a few episodes of “Dexter,” the Warner Brothers movie “Shorts,” and Disney’s “A.N.T. Farm,” and played the title role in the 2012 film Kirby Buckets. Short describes his dream role as being either in a new “Star Wars” movie or on a TV show like “How I Met Your Mother.”
