We Three was introduced to the world on a larger scale last year when they auditioned for America’s Got Talent. The sibling trio consisting of Bethany Humlie, Joshua Humlie, and Manny Humlie had entered the competition with a performance of an original song and tribute to their late mother, “Heaven’s Not Too Far.”
The time We Three spent working with the judges of America’s Got Talent, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell, allowed the pop/rock group to use the show as a platform which they could “spring board off of.” Together they are ready to take everything from practice and now put it out there on tour this spring.
We Three Share Their “Lifeline” with iPlay America ahead of New Jersey Tour Stop
We Three will hit the road in early March on their first-ever headlining gig for 2019, The Lifeline Tour. Prior to their tour stop here in Freehold, New Jersey, we had the opportunity to chat with the Oregon natives before they take the Events @iPA stage March 9th.
In December of 2018, We Three released their self-titled debut album which was just a short few months after going viral and capturing the hears of music fans everywhere. When it comes to writing their original tunes, the group tends find inspiration from all genres and release what they feel represents the Humlie family.
“Our biggest thing with lyrics is honesty. We don’t like to sugar coat things and we like to say how it is. As far as the music goes, we pull from Twenty One Pilots, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, and Maroon 5 which we labeled ourselves as pop/rock,” Manny told Lauren Hoffman of iPlay America in an exclusive interview.
When it came time to record We Three in the studio, there was a lot going on during the process. “It pushed us and sometimes we got delirious which was always hilarious,” Bethany confessed.
We Three admits that being on stage together is their favorite part about this musical journey they’ve embarked on. The trio’s 12-track collection includes the lead single “Heaven’s Not Too Far” and their fan-favorite track, “Lifeline.”
With just days left until tour begins, We Three’s manager reminds each of them to stay healthy and to change up the set during their trek so it doesn’t become monotonous. “We challenge each other to play and push each other to do more,” Joshua revealed.
The Lifeline Tour VIP Meet and Greet | Photo Opp
Aside from performing their hits live for a New Jersey crowd, We Three is most looking forward to meeting their fans in person and hearing their stories face to face. Those attending We Three’s concert at iPlay America can now purchase the VIP Meet and Greet add-on which gives the ticket holder the opportunity to have a professional photo taken on-site.
We Three continue to use their platform to spread positivity and will highlight everything we’ve come to know and love about them in their upcoming “Lifeline” visual. The trio recently filmed the project with no pretense while standing in the rain for several hours at just 35 degrees.
“This was honestly an unexpected experience that turned into one of the coolest and hardest things I’ve personally ever done. It was physically, emotionally, and mentally very challenging,” Bethany shared.
