WWE’s The New Day can’t imagine having spent the last five years with anyone else by their side in the ring. Together, the wrestling stable consisting of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods would say they’re all living out their childhood dreams every day while describing their wrestling career thus far as fulfilling, interesting, and over all mentally strengthening,
The prophecy is fulfilled for The New Day each and every time they step into the ring. The New Day admits that it just feels right and it’s what they’ve been fighting to do for years. Aside from feeling happy and having a full stomach of pancakes at all times, The New Day always looks forward to witnessing the enthusiasm and the fervor the fans show them when they walk into a room.
What is The New Day’s favorite part about working events such as their upcoming appearance at iPlay America? Well, Woods admits that it’s solely for “the fact that we are able to be a positive influence in people’s lives.”
On September 29th, The New Day will visit The Event Center @iPA for an ultimate VIP Pancake Lover Breakfast, photo op, and autograph experience with the New Jersey sector of WWE Universe. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the talent, reserve a seat in Game Time Bar & Grill for a pancake buffet, have a professional photo taken, and more.
“Without our fans, there is no “us.” To be in a position where I can put a smile on someone’s face, just by being in their presence, is very cool,” Kingston said.
The pancake loving wrestlers each have many career accomplishments under their belts as WWE superstars. Xavier Woods and Big E are Smackdown Tag Team Champions and Kingston is a WWE Champion. So, what’s next? At the end of the day, it’s all about pushing people to be the best version of themselves for The New Day.
“I want to have all three members become World Champions,” Big E told iPlay America.
The pancake phenomenon started for The New Day during a lumberjack match against their fellow WWE superstars Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. They came out wearing flannel and eating pancakes and it just became “a thing” for the trio. If you ever wanted to treat The New Day to breakfast, Big E revealed to iPlay America that protein pancakes are his favorite, Woods enjoys the free ones, and Kingston prefers his to be dairy free and of course whatever he’s in the mood for.
Over the years, iPlay America has become a top destination in New Jersey to meet past and present WWE stars. Hulk Hogan, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, Shawn Michaels, The IIconics, among others have all walked through The Event Center @iPA doors since opening in 2011.
Who would be a top pick for a dream match against The New Day? “Normally I would say versus Shawn Michaels, but I did have the opportunity to twerk in the ring at WrestleMania with Shawn Michaels, so that’s probably as close as I’m going to get,” Kingston expressed to iPlay America.
Every year The New Day has the chance to work a long list of exciting Pay-Per-View events such as SummerSlam, WrestleMania, The Royal Rumble, and King of the Ring where thousands of fans gather together to see who will hold the next WWE title. Every match is different and all members of the WWE Universe have their favorites to choose from.
“I look forward to WrestleMania the most every year because we get to do things like come out of a giant cereal box,” Big E exclaimed. At this point, if you’re a WWE fan, then you’ve already heard of The New Day’s actual WWE cereal, Booty-O’s, or even tasted it yourself.
Aside from meeting their fans and eating some pancakes, The New Day will have the chance to step inside the best arcade in New Jersey when they arrive later this month. There is something for everyone at iPlay America’s arcade, which features over 250 crane and video games. The wrestlers are no strangers to the arcade as they revealed to iPlay America that some of their favorite games include WWF’s Royal Rumble, Museca, NBA Jam, Street Fighter, and DDR.
