Freehold, NJ – The members of the band R5 will visit iPlay America from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, September 26, before playing in concert that night at Starland Ballroom.
The group plans to ride the rides and hang out in the park. Ten lucky fans will win tickets for a 12:30 p.m. meet and greet with the band along with a $25 game card to iPlay America – including two last-minute drawings at 12:15 p.m. iPlay America will open at 9 a.m., two hours before the band arrives, and fans are encouraged to come early to register to win.
At 1 p.m., iPlay America will hold a final drawing for two pairs of tickets to that night’s concert at Starland Ballroom along with pre-show meet and greet passes.
Entrants must be present to win for all drawings.
“We are thrilled to have R5 come enjoy the park and meet fans,” said Jessica Schwartz, director of marketing for iPlay America. “Their fans can come have fun in the park before they arrive and figure out the best spot to get a photo of band members.”
The band comprises siblings Riker Lynch on bass, Rocky Lynch on lead guitar, Ross Lynch on rhythm guitar and Rydel Lynch on keyboard along with drummer Ellington Ratliff.
Because there is no school September 25-26, iPlay America will open early both days – at 11 a.m. on September 25 and at 9 a.m. on September 26 to accommodate R5 fans. It’s always free to enter. R5 fans are welcome to join the fun in the park and take photos of the band members as they enjoy the park. R5 will not perform while at iPlay America.
The regular After School Specials are valid from open until 7 p.m. both days – $19.99 for unlimited laser tag and video games (non redemption) or unlimited rides, a $10 game card and 100 tickets.
